Vickie Sue South, 69 of St. Rt. 772 Otway, died Wednesday August 24, 2016 at her residence. She was born on December 20, 1946 in the Big Run Community, Lucasville, Ohio to the late Carley E. and Mary E. McCorkle Wolfe.

She was united in marriage on August 8, 1969 to Carl Russell South who preceded her in death on September 6, 2012.

Surviving are two sons, Bruce “Jennifer” South and Brad “Heather” South both of Otway. Three grandchildren: Bruce South, Jr., Justin South, Karleigh South, and one sister, Barb “Jim” Arnold of Otway.

She was a member of the Rarden Fire Dept.-Ladies Auxiliary, a former employee of the former Williams Shoe Factory, and worked for the former Valley Tractor Sales in Lucasville for many years.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Danny Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mustard Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
