Kenneth “Joe” Richmond, 69, passed away at his home in Fleming County, KY, on August 24, 2016.
Joe worked for 25 years at Greentree Forest Products.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce McKee Richmond; his daughter, Candace Richmond of Fleming County; his son, Kenny (Christina) Richmond of Winchester, KY; his grandchildren, Brittany (Zach) Lewis, Ashley Richmond; and great grandchildren, Levi and Reid Lewis.
He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Presley of Fleming County, along with sisters, Janice Curd and Judy Marshall; brothers, Jake, Jesse, Johnny, Jamie, and Jackie Richmond; and his stepmother, Bertha Richmond. His is also survived by numerous supportive and loving friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Richmond; his mother, Francis Gulley Bevins; his father, Oscar Eugene Richmond; and brothers, Ronnie Richmond and Billy Richmond of Fleming County.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery in Goddard, KY.
Visitation will be 12-4 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Bobby Gorman, Jimmy Hall, Mike McKee, Ronnie Richmond, Jr., Greg Richmond, Rex Shephard, and Jimmy Lee Presley.
