Fairbanks, Allen Roger, was born June 9, 1931 in St Paul, MN to James and Ellen Fairbanks. He passed quietly in his CA home on May 3. 2012.
Second oldest of seven; Douglas, Allen, Richard, Donna Mae, Joanne, William and Judy. Preceded by 1/2 siblings, Josephine, James Cecil and Delores.
A bright star when he was younger. An outstanding amateur boxer (39 wins). In 1949 featured in Winnipeg Press in Canada, St. Paul Dispatch and Pioneer Press in Minnesota.
He is survived by four daughters, Yvonne Downs, Donna Kasparoff, Mary Oliver and Eileen Fairbanks. His life will be honored at sea with a private memorial service.
