Cecil R. Carr of Galt passed away in Lodi on February 20, 2004 at the age of 70. He was born on February 19, 1934 in Mesa, AZ. His family moved to Woodbridge when he was a young child. He lived in the San Joaquin Valley area most of his life. He was employed at Stockton Dodge in sales for 14 years. He also had a love for music. He had a country western band called Cecil Carr and the Country Ride. He enjoyed the fellowship of the Woodbridge Community Church. He is survived by his children: Steven Forbes, Stockton; Michael Carr and wife, Tammy ; Diane Field of Lodi; Kimberley Newstrom and husband, David of Stockton; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Zelma Millikin. He was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Marie Carr, Floyd Carr, LeRoy Carr. There will be a Memorial Service at Woodbridge Community Church on Thursday, February 26th at 1:00 PM with Pastor Sammie Walls officiating. There is no visitation. Inurnment will be private.
