ALLENDALE - Caroline Goodson Addison, 94, widow of the late J. Clyde Addison, Sr., died Sunday, July 19 2009.
Mrs. Addison was a native of Allendale and the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Ella Rodgers Goodson, Sr. She had retired from the Allendale U.S. Post Office and was a member of Allendale First Baptist Church. She had resided in Vidalia, GA, for the past 8 years.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Brunson Cemetery with the Rev. Chip Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James Clyde and Elizabeth Addison Jr. of Cullowhee, NC, and Ezekiel William and Lynn Addison of Vidalia, GA; two grandchildren, Sara Addison Kristel and husband Andrew of Greensboro, NC, and Jesse Addison of Chapel Hill, NC; one brother Angus C. Goodson of Williamsburg, VA; two sisters, Juanita R. Goodson of Allendale and Josephine Rupinski of New York; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother William Henry Goodson, Jr.
