Kevin Lamar Massey, 57, of Oneonta, AL passed away on August 23, 2016. Mr. Massey is preceded in death by grandparents, Willie Mac and Doris Eden Massey and Walter Loyd and Nona B. Harris; and step-father, Harvey L. Julian, Jr. He is survived by father, Herbert Massey (Charlotte) of Oneonta; mother, Laurel "Lollie" Julian of Oneonta; brother, Mac Massey (Laquana) of Oneonta; special nephew, Brad Porter (Dusty) of Locust Fork; special niece, Katie Porter Mitchell (Jay) of Birmingham; great nephew, Taylor James Porter; and great niece, Arya Swayze Porter.
Bill Coefield and Monroe Butler will officiate funeral services on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Massey will lie in state at Lemley Funeral Home on Friday from 10AM until service time.
