Clinton Ray Parker was the third of six children that were born to Archie LeRoy and Marjorie Mae Rumley Parker. He was born on July 27, 1958, in Iowa City, Iowa. Clinton attended grade school in Attica, Iowa and graduated from Twin Cedars High School. During this time he developed an interest in art and music. He acquired the nickname of ‘The Fly’ which was associated with his car. Clinton and Tanya Lynn LaCaze became partners and Clinton became the father image to her son, David S. LaCaze and her daughter, Chantay M. LaCaze. They made their home together in Pershing, Iowa. Clinton was gainfully employed at 3M in Knoxville, Iowa as machine operator for over 40 years until his health necessitated an early retirement. Despite his limitations due to his health, Clinton enjoyed hunting and fishing. On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, he passed away unexpectedly in Knoxville, Iowa at the age of 58 years.
Clinton leaves behind his partner, Tanya LaCaze, and her two children: David LaCaze and Chantay LaCaze of Pershing, Iowa; sons: Jerry C. Pyburn and Matthew K. Kaskie; his two brothers: Archie Parker, Jr. and his wife, Charlene, and Larry Parker all of Des Moines, Iowa; and two sisters: Wanita and her husband, Eustaz Cannon, Sr. of Pershing and Carmelita and her husband, Henry Claytor, Jr. of Des Moines; and a brother-in-law, Rodney Thomas of Fresno, Texas. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Marjorie Parker, Sr., and his sister, Marchita Thomas.
