Audrey J. (Schultz) Robbins, 98, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, Aug. 24, 2016, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.

Born on Aug. 22, 1918, in Mingo Junction, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank Paul and Mary (Grantonic) Schultz. She was a 1936 graduate of St. Mary High School. Audrey was a homemaker and volunteered for many years at Providence Hospital and at St. Mary Catholic School. Over the years, Audrey enjoyed sewing, needlework and was known as an excellent baker.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Audrey is survived by three daughters, Judith (Ronald) Weiskircher, Nancy (Ernest) Licata and Susan (Mike) Olsen; eight grandchildren, Amy (David) Wallenfelsz, Ann (Constantine) Passodelis, Wendy Weiskircher, Beth (Dale) Douglas, Brian Licata, Jennifer (Kevin) Gast, Jacqueline (Gregory) Hannan and Michael (Lisa) Olsen; 13 great-grandchildren, Nolan, Nathan and Caroline Gast, Madeline, Emmaline and Mallory Hannan, Madison, Garrett and Brady Olsen, Anthony Douglas, Jack and Sam Passodelis and Sarah Wallenfelsz; and a sister, Rosemary (Pat) Riccardi; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles W. “Charlie” Robbins, on March 16, 2011; and two sisters, Eloise Schultz and Pauline “Peggy” Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
