LUTHER J. HICKOK
MAHAFFEY — Luther J. Hickok. 79, of Mahaffey R. D. 1, died in his home yesterday morning following a long illness.
Born at Olanta Feb. 27, 1887, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Cathcart) Hickok.
Surviving are his wife, the former Stella Smith; a son and two daughters, Alvin and Mrs. Laura Truance, both of Mahaffey R. D. 1, and Mrs. Samuel (Dorotha) Beatty, Williamsport R. D. 2; eight grandchildren; and two brothers, Aaron, Houghton, N. Y.; and Hugh, Slippery Rock.
Funeral services will be held in the Thomas G. McCracken Funeral Home, Mahaffey, Friday at 2 p. m. with the Rev Rex Brickell officiating. Interment will be in Rawley Cemetery, Hilsdale, (Indiana County).
Friends will be received in the funeral home tomorrow after noon and evening and until the hour of service Friday.
