"Joyce Richardson Pennington age 79, of Center, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at NHC in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was a native of Hart County and a member of the Center Church of Christ. She taught Sunday school for 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and working in the garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Handy Richardson.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jimmie Pennington, two sons Darrell Pennington (Sharon) of Center, Marty Pennington (Shauna) of Center, one daughter Brenda Norris (Sammy) of Center, five grandchildren, Melissa Garrett (Travis), Eighty Eight, Ky, Alexandria Pennington, Park City, Ky, Austin Pennington, Center, Ky, Nick Pennington, Center, Ky, and Dylan Norris of Center, two step-grandchildren, T.C. and Spencer Huddleston, Glasgow, Ky, one brother, Lovell Richardson (Frances), Louisville, Ky. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the Asbury-Center Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service."
