PFC Ray Orville Dorman was born in Bowie, Texas. His parents were Roy Alvin Dorman and Jesse Jewel Raines. He married Christine Adell Tichenor on 23 Aug 1939 in Lubbock, Texas. He served our country in the Army Air Forces from 1943-1945 during WWII and was involved with the European campaign and the Normandy France Campaign. He was a retired automobile mechanic and lived in Apple Valley after retirment. He died from Cancer at home surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was a man of honor and valor. We all miss him tremendously.
