Rebecca Joyce Loder, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday November 27, 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Lile and Dr. Scott Willingham officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
Becky was born on September 16, 1956 in Wichita Falls to Charles Wesley Schmidt Sr. and Alice (Hansard) Schmidt. She graduated from S.H. Rider High School in 1975. Becky and Larry Loder were married in Wichita Falls on May 25, 1977. She attended the School of Nursing at MSU and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1989. Becky went on to become a Critical Care Nurse Educator at URHCS 11th Street. A longtime Wichita Falls resident, Becky was a very active member of Faith Baptist Church in Sunday school, choir and drama. Her Father precedes her in death.
Survivors include her husband; Larry of the home, mother; Alice (Hansard) Bell , step-father; Waymon Bell, twin daughters; Andrea Marie and Amanda Jean Loder all of Wichita Falls, TX and 1 brother; Charles Wesley Schmidt, Jr. and wife Alison of Rowlett, TX.
The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 PM Sunday for visitation.
