Ruth Pearl Moore, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on August 19, 1925 in Burwell, Nebraska, the daughter of Grant and Ettie Backus Marshall. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1943, she was a homemaker.

She was a founding member of the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Scott City.

On November 7, 1943 she married Benton Moore in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on February 2, 1998 in Scott City, Kansas

Survivors Include her Four Sons - Tom & Kathy Moore of Scott City, Kansas, Bill & Glenda Moore of Manhattan, Kansas, John & Debbie Moore of Belle Plaine, Kansas, Charles Moore of Colby, Kansas, One Daughter - Patricia Conine of Eldorado, Kansas, Seven Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 with Fr. Don Martin presidiing.


Memorials may be given to the Community Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
