Jessica had worked at DuPont. She was a member of the Shenandoah Valley Knife Collectors Club.
She was united in marriage on April 12, 2002, to David Harrison Dobbins, who preceded her in death on July 3, 2009.
She is survived by two children, Michael D. Martin of Crimora, and Penny Y. Via and husband, Darrell, of Lyndhurst; two sisters, Theresa G. Duncan and husband, Danny, of Waynesboro, and Mary Candy Dyson, of Churchville; anda brother, Martin B. Patton and wife, Lynette, of Mississippi. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Caleb Morris, Heath Morris, Devon Martin, and Jessica Martin; and one great grandson, Alaric Morris.
A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 2 p.m.on Saturday, August 27, 2016, with the Rev. Gary Monroe officiating.The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Service in Grottoes.Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1920 H Medical Ave., Harrisonburg, VA 22801 or the charity of your choice.
