Rosazella(Rose Howell Blake) Reese,75, of Buffalo, departed life and entered her eternal resting place on Aug.23,2016 at
her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a Christian
for over 60 years and was a very loving person with a large
heart that was always open to helping others. She lived her life for her children and American Legion Unit 73, where she
was a member for many years and served in several different
offices. She sang in the Hometown Senior Choir an served on
the board of Directors for Teays Hill Cemetery. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Albans High School and operated a day care for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother,
friend to everyone and will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. Born Dec 6,1940, she was the daughter of
the late Gene and Pauline Howell. in addition to her parents
, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Blake; brother ,Jim Howell; and grandchildren, Jenny Rebecka Blake and Jason Lee Fields Jr. Survivors include her special son,
Phillip Blake; daughter, Robin Stump, both of Buffalo; son,
Steve Miller Blake of St. Albans; daughter, Stephanie (Mike)
Sanders of Davis Creek; brother, Robert Howell of Indiana;
sister, Lee (Chuck)Sadler of Kentucky; a very special cousin, Patty Jean (Vernon) Thornton of Hurricane; grandchildren Jay, Emily, Shauna, Owen, Salina, B J, Tabitha,
Sammantha, Racheal, Jerusha, Zac, and Brian; 12 great-grandchildren. All of her great-grandchildren held a special
place in her heart. Rose is also survived by several nieces,
nephews, cousins and a host of special and dear friends. The
family would like to express a deep gratitude to the Hospice nurses and workers that helped during this difficult time. "Rest in Peace Mommy...your suffering is Over." Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, Red House.
