COKER – Lawrence ""Junior"" Perry, Jr., age 80, of Coker, died August 23, 2016, at home. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at Bone Camp Methodist Church with David Tunnell officiating. Burial will follow at Bone Camp Methodist Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Annie Perry; brothers, Willie, Hulbert and Gene Perry; sister, Thelma Tucker; and mother and father-in- law, Mary and Jessie Gray.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Perry; daughter, Donna Hubbard (Bryan); sisters, Mary Harris and Frances Gray.
Pallbearers will be Ian Barrett, Washey Booth, Hollis Duncan, Richard Duncan and David, Don and Tony Perry.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Sunil Chandra, Dr. Gary Ramdeen, AIacare Hospice, David and Virginia Acker and Maw Maw's Early Learning Center. Lawrence worked many years at Central Foundry and at the Alabama Department of Transportation.He was an avid gardener and loved to be outside. He will be greatly missed.
