Kelly Harris, 48 of Rockville, NE died Monday, August 22, 2016 at CHI Health, Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE. Cremation has been held. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church in Loup City with Father Richard Piontkowski officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Loup City American Legion Post #48 and United State Navy Honor Guard. Burial will be held at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE at a later date. No Visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Harris family or donor’s choice.

Kelly Ray Harris was born January 8, 1968 at Loup City, NE to Daryl G. and Irene H. (Harris). He grew up and attended school in Loup City. On January 9, 2004 he married Bobbi Harris. He joined the United States Navy and was an airplane mechanic. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Daryl (Doc) and Irene Harris of Loup City, NE; two sons, Travis and Benjamin; four daughters, Whisper, Madisen, Teagan and Jillian; brothers, Scott of Kansas City; Dana of Pierce, NE and Jesse of Rockville, NE; sister, Ann Theesen of North Dakota and twin sister, Karla Wochnick of Morse Bluff, NE. He was preceded in death paternal and maternal grandparents.
