Carl Barker, age 57, of Grayson, passed away Wednesday morning, August 24, 2016, at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.
He was born October 28, 1958, in Carter County, a son of the late Albert and Francis Carver Barker.
Carl was a life-long farmer and he enjoyed horseback riding, watching westerns, and spending time with his family.
Carl is survived by his aunt, Jewell Carver Caldwell, his uncle, Donald "Red" Carver, and his extended family, the Harlow's from Iron Hill. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016, at the Zornes-Carver Cemetery on State Route 474 in Carter, with Brother Edison Elliott officiating.
