"Mary Ra Nae Stanton Barkley passed away peacefully at her home in Pilot Hill, Calif., on Aug. 18, 2016, with her husband of 18 years, Ray Barkley, by her side. She was the loving mother of Sondra (Archie) Campbell, William (Tanya) Barkely, Ray Stanton II and Ra Nae Stanton; sister of Roberta Kroeker; devoted grandmother of 12; and great-grandmother of four.
Mary was the widow of Ray Stanton and together they were owners of Raymar Press in Santa Ana, Calif. She lived in Fountain Valley, Orange County, for 30 years before moving to El Dorado County in 2004. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She and husband Ray Barkley loved to cruise and during their years together they traveled the world.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. at Mother Lode Church, 870 Beach Court in Lotus, Calif., followed immediately by a reception where drinks and cupcakes, which Mary arranged for, will be served. Private interment will be held at Green Valley Cemetery in Rescue, Calif. Contributions in Mary’s name may be made to Camp Forward Bible Camp, 10320 Wentworth Springs Road, Georgetown, CA 95634. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home in Placerville, Calif."
