The Daily Standard, Sikeston, Missouri, Monday, December 27, 1965, Page 12, Col. 2: Mrs. McQuay Dies In Diehlstadt. Mrs. Fannie Kirkpatrick McQuay, 91, died Saturday at 5:25 a.m. in the Missouri Delta Community hospital. She was born in Paducah, Ky., Jan. 26, 1874, and had lived in Scott county most of her life.
Surviving are four sons, Ollie and Otto Kirkpatrick, both of Diehlstadt, Sterling Kirkpatrick, Springfield, Ill., and Floyd Kirkpatrick, Flint, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Ivah Davis, St. Louis, and Mrs. Clara Kirk, Fenton, Mich.; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be in the Nunelee Funeral Chapel, Charleston, Tuesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Rufus Noisworthy officiating. Burial will be in the Maynard Cemetery.
[She was buried under her first married name of Kirkpatrick. She was married a second time to James B. McQuay].
