Ewel 'Papaw' Bell, 77, died of cancer Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents John and Martha "Belle" (Roberts) Bell, one sister and three brothers.
Mr. Bell, the husband of Dorothy Gentry Bell, also leaves a daughter, Martha Childress of West Point; two sisters, Lucille Green and Christine Davidson, both of Amory; a brother, Orville Bell of Brooksville, two grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Nowell-Robinson Funeral Home with burial in Brooksville Cemetery.
