Sally Ilene Pierce, 76, of Longmont, died August 22, 2016 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 27, 1939 in Boulder, Colorado the daughter of Elizabeth (Forster) and John Stengel. On February 7, 1959 she married John Richard Pierce in Boulder, Colorado.
Sally was a proud homemaker and had also served her church, New Creation, as a volunteer in a number of capacities.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Surviving are her three sons, and her two daughters. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and her two sisters.
