Mr Gene Rodney McBride, Sr. a lifelong resident of Bronson, Texas died Tuesday August 23, 2016 at a Nacogdoches hospital.
He was born July 29, 1946 and was 70 years of age.
He was a welding inspector and a member of local 798 and a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
There will be a visitation of family and friends Wednesday August 24, 2016 from 5~7pm at Franks Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Merryville, LA and his funeral service at 10am Thursday August 25, 2016 at Franks-Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Merryville, LA with Brother Wesley McBride and Brother Floyd Wright officiating.
Burial will follow in the McBride Cemetery in Bronson, Texas
Those left to cherish his memories are his wonderful daughters and son in laws Rene' McCroskey and Keith of Bronson, TX Laurie Franks and husband Leslie of Burleson, TX, Tina Knighton and Paul of Newton, Texas; son Jeremi Day and Shana of Cypress, TX and step-daughter Heather Campbell of Eagle River, Alaska, sister Lyndia Page of Bronson, TX, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
