Mrs. Olivia Mae (Bertie) McCARTY, 88, passed away 28 Dec, Wayne General Hospital. She was the last of 14 children. Funeral services held 29 Dec, Walters Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Jim Campbell, A. J. Cameron, Ed Hightower officiating. Interment in McCarty cemetery.
Survivors - one son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. McCARTY, Jr., Magee, MS; one son-in-law, Dr. J. D. LEGGETT, Santa Anna, CA; six grandchildren, Jacob LEGGETT, Vietnam; Mrs. Thomas SEMLER, Los Angeles, CA; John Robert, Patti, Ann, Katherine Juanita and Marsha Lynn McCARTY, all of Magee.
