Kathy Eileen Rouse, a bookkeeper, died of lung cancer Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, in a local care center. She was 57.
Mrs. Rouse was born Dec. 7, 1945, in Vancouver. Her maiden name was Spaur.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Phyllis E. Spaur and William Strazz of Vancouver; one son, Nicholas S. Hilgert of Vancouver; three sisters, Sherri L. Callison of Washougal, Holly Ann Bailey of Portland and Janice Hampton of Vancouver; and two brothers, Richard Spaur of Vancouver and Bryan Strazz of Texas.
Mrs. Rouse liked collecting antique jewelry and taking trips to Reno and Las Vegas.
Her body was cremated. There will be a private service.
