On August 18, 2016, LuVerna passed into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus Christ, where she also experienced a glorious reunion with family that has passed before her.
LuVerna was the only daughter born on September 23, 1919 in Odessa, WA to Fred and Lucy (Diefe) Weishaar. She graduated from Marlin High School, and married her High School Sweetheart, Clarence Buddrius on December 18, 1938.
Bud and LuVerna raised two children, DeWane and Lonna in Harrington, WA. They briefly lived in Spokane where they operated a furniture store in Airway Heights. They also lived in Everett, WA for over 20 years, before retiring to Odessa, WA to help care for her mother.
LuVerna sold Tupperware throughout Lincoln County and later was a leader in sales with Vanda Distributors. Among her many talents were her beautiful oil paintings and her handmade gifts made from crocheting and knitting. She got much joy from nurturing her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a member and past Worthy Matron of Harrington's Bright Hope Chapter of Eastern Star.
Most recently, LuVerna was in the care of Garden Plaza in Post Falls, Idaho.
LuVerna was preceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucy Weishaar, her husband, Clarence, son DeWane S. Buddrius, 2 grandsons; Robby Taylor and Deven Buddrius, 5 brothers; Stanley, Maurice, Wallace, Warren and Don Weishasar; a son-in-law, John Taylor.
LuVerna is survived by daughter, Lonna Taylor, of Post Falls, ID, daughter-in-law, Carol Buddrius of Harrington; granddaughter, Juliann (Doug) Janke, Davenport, WA, grandson, David S. Buddrius, Harrington, WA; 4 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
