Connie I. Arnold went to be with her Lord Thurs., Nov. 30, 2006, at 10 a.m. in her home. She was 62 years old. Connie was born in Pierce City, Mo., to Howard and Irene (Palmer) Williams. The family moved to Springfield, Mo., when Connie was 12 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas H. Williams. She is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Ronald L. Arnold; two daughters, Debra Ann Speake and husband Terry and Pamela Sue Manes and husband Kirk, both of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren, J.W. and Amber Gilmore, Megan and Jared Manes; great-grandson Adrian Gilmore, all of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, David Williams and wife Mary of Costa Mesa, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; as well as many beloved family members and friends. Connie was a homemaker, wife, mother and nana, who served her God faithfully. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Connie devoted many hours of service to Grand Oaks Mission and the Ozark Baptist Home. Funeral services will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home East on Mon., Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn North. Visitation will be on Sun., Dec. 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand Oaks Mission.
