Jerry Luke Landers, 69, passed peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father on August 21, 2016. Jerry was born in Atlanta, GA to Luke Berry and Gladys Nell and graduated in 1965 from Southwest High. Jerry was a Devoted husband to Linda Nell of Leesburg, FL for 2 years, a Dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg, FL, with a Dynamic personality which served him well as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The VON Corporation. As a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle he taught his family and friends the depths of true love and Christian faith. His example of tenacity and strength showed through in any challenge he faced. His quick wit and sense of humor left a lasting impression upon those whom he came in contact with. The family will receive friends at Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory located at 1123 W Main St Leesburg, FL, Thursday August 25, 2016 from 6-8pm with an additional opportunity beginning at 9am prior to his 11am Celebration of Life service on Friday, August 26, 2016.
