Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 25, at Speaks Suburban Chapel; burial in Dover Cemetery, Dover, MO. Friends may call Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
Dawn was born May 24, 1955, in Monterey, CA, to Leland and Karen Franklin. She was a shift manager for the 24 Hwy. and Sterling Taco Bell location. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Sugar Creek Lodge. Dawn is survived by her children, Troy D. Gernhart of Excelsior Springs, MO, Haley LaDawn Wheeler of Sugar Creek, MO, and Eric D. Wheeler of Independence, MO, six grandchildren, parents, Leland and Karen Franklin of Independence, MO, grandmother, Darlene Mills of Webb, IA, brother, Leland B.
