He was born September 27, 1925 in Valeda, KS to Glenn and Vida Bowman. Ralph was united in marriage to Retha Burns on August 14, 1953 and together they shared 63 years of marriage. During World War II, Ralph served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. Ralph was a graduate of L.C.C.H.S. in Altamont, KS, and the University of Kansas. He was employed as a Public Accountant, Ralph worked for C. Robert Belt in Coffeyville, KS. In 1954 he moved to Ponca City OK to work for the city offices. In 1959 he obtained his C.P.A. license and became the city Treasurer, a position he held for 28 years. Ralph volunteered with Cox Health, working with Lifelines.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Retha; brother, Leo; two nieces; and five nephews.
