OSCEOLA - Daniel E. Erickson passed away on Saturday, August 20 at his place of employment. Daniel was born on October 9, 1962 in South Bend as the son of Carolyn (Schuler) Erickson and Kay K. Erickson. His father preceded him in death on April 14, 2009.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Carolyn Erickson; two sons, Justin (Whitney) Erickson of Milbank, SD and Shawn Erickson of Plymouth, MA; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Carson and Mirayah. He is also survived by his brother, David (Jessica) Erickson of Bath, MI, his sister, Donna Kay (Eric) Huneryager of Peru, IN, nephew, Paul and niece, Holly.
Daniel is a graduate of Mishawaka High School and attended Ball State University.
Daniel has worked in construction over the years and was currently employed at Acoustical Molded Products of Easton in Granger. Daniel enjoyed working with wood and was proficient in math. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling and very much loved dogs.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 24 from 12 to 2 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
