Employed by Barber-Coleman Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1969. Charter member of Grace Lutheran Church and member of Order of the Eastern Star. Life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Robert (Audrey) Gets of Loves Park, Donald (Lorrayne) Getts of Belvidere and Michael (Jean) Getts of Costa Mesa, Calif., seven grandchidren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husbands; parents; greatgrandaughter, Luann; two brothers and two sisters.
Services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, with the Rev. Dr. Cartyle Smith officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
