Fanny was born into the eventual large family of Lyman Duane Hamblin and Fanny Adeline Noble. She was the third child of fourteen.
At age 19 she married William Strait Hill on February 14, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They became the parents of seven children.
When Fanny was 60 years old she died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
