She married Raymond Hawkins and they were the parents of one son, Keith Dudley Hawkins (b. 1959), after many years of hoping to have a child.
Jane passed away after complications during heart surgery. She was a kind, gentle, soft-spoken and very sweet woman who is truly missed and fondly remembered as a "true lady."
