Ann FOSTER Passed away on her 87th birthday, August 11, 2007. Born Rachel Ann Smith in Nashville, she was the only child of Ruth Morrissey and Roger Lee Smith. She attended Fall School, Hume Fogg High School and Art School. She met the Late J.P. Foster in first grade; they were married May 9, 1941 and were together for the next 65 years. Mrs. Foster loved to travel and she and her husband visited more than 50 countries. A gifted artist and great lover of animals, she illustrated the Nashville Humane Association cookbook and designed and painted decorations for several Swan Balls. She grew up at Glen Leven Presbyterian Church & was a current member of Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. She is survived by daughter, Amy Choate of Brentwood; son, Todd Foster of Nashville; three grandchildren...; as well as one great-grandchild...
