This Mausoleum | was constructedin the year of our Lord | 1850 | by Eyre EVANS Esqr | for the remains of his beloved daughter | Honble Caroline Louisa GRANT | and for the family of | Evans | of Ash-Hill Towers and Miltown Castle | Sic transit Gloria mundi | 'We know neither the day nor the hour | wherein the son of man cometh'.
