Ella Mary Richardson, 82, of Vacaville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 5, at David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield. She was born in Bovina, MS.
Mary was best known in Vacaville as a pioneer for women in business and in 1975, together with Jo Dee (Joan) Burkeen, they founded the Tax Factory to serve the tax preparation and accounting needs of Vacaville and beyond. The Tax Factory, Inc. consistently grew their client base and business over the years and has been voted # 1 Tax Preparation Service in Vacaville based on customer feedback. This business provides a lasting legacy and tribute to Mary's vision and drive. Mary retired from the Tax Factory, Inc. Dec. 31, 2010.
Viewing will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Skyview Funeral Chapel, 200 Rollingwood Drive, burial and repast will follow at Skyview Memorial Lawn.
