Janette Eula James Cooper, 90, of Greenwood, formerly of Fort Smith, died August 21, 2016 in Greenwood.
She was born April 28, 1926 in Plummerville, AR to Arthur Benjamin and Eva Lola Geary Mahan.
She was a homemaker and member of both Park Hill Church of Christ and the Valley View Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary and husband Ken Crawley of Greenwood and Wanda and husband Don Williamson of Stokesdale, N.C.; four sons, Bill and wife Donna James of Fort Smith, Donald and wife Carolyn James of Springdale, AR., Leonard and wife Kathy James of Fort Smith, and Robert and wife Karla James of Barling, AR; two sisters in law, Neoma Conkin of Paris, AR and Pam James of Fairview Heights, IL; one brother in law, Lavern James of Springfield, MO; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Leo James and James Cooper; and two grandchildren, Tammy Sue James and William Brent James.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Crawley, Joe Roam, Benjamin James, Dawson James, Shaun James, and Tyler James
