He attended Harmony Grade School and Atoka High School. Later he attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Stephen was a driller for Nabors Drilling Co. for 6 years. He married Kynna Lynn (Wharton) on Friday, August 17th, 2007 at Atoka, OK. They had 9 wonderful years together. Stephen was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church. He played football for Atoka since the age of 7 and was on the last team to go to state from Atoka in 2003. Stephen enjoyed fishing, paintball and video games.
