Carrie M. Black, formerly of Two Taverns-Barlow, entered into Heavenly slumber December 1 in York.

She was the daughter of the late Mervin and Grace (Bricker) Rice.

Mrs. Black was a graduate of Biglerville High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Joy Lutheran Church of Gettysburg.

She was the wife of the late Glenn W. Black, who departed this life in 1982, and surviving are one daughter, Patricia A. Mullinix of Manchester, PA; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren; and cousins.
