Carol worked in a number of professions during her lifetime. Aside from being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, she was a secretary, court reporter, and radio station announcer.
Carol was also a strong woman of faith and truly loved attending her church home, Victory Christian Center. She also cherished her children and grandchildren, and her pets as well. Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Blair; her brother, Carroll M. Lee Jr.; and her sisters, Ladell L. Hoover and Frances L. Montgomery.
Carol is survived by her sons, Driller Prather of Center Point, Texas, and Skeet Prather of Kingsland, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Brandon L. Prather of Midland, Patrick C. Prather of Midland and Nicole L. Prather of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; one great-granddaughter, Emma G. Prather, of Midland, Texas; and numerous nephews.
The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, in Foster Cemetery on Foster Ranch in Sterling City, Texas, with Rev. Jerry Roach officiating.
