S. Dorsey, 95, of Henderson, Kentucky, died peacefully at 4 a.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016, at her home.
She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James S. “Pie” Delker, who died in 1953 and John L. Dorsey, Jr., who died May 28, 1986; her parents, Irvin W. and Leota Curl Sleyster; and one brother, I. William “Bill” Sleyster.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann James of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Steven J. Delker and his wife, Terry, of Fairhope, Alabama; four grandchildren, David James, John James, Heather Delker and her husband, Jim Laugelli, and Matthew Delker; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Dr. J. Douglas Blair will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
