Obituary in Honolulu Star Bulletin, Saturday, July 31, 1999:
Alice Apo, 89, of Kaupo, Maui died Thursday in Kula Hospital. Born in Kaupo, she is survived by three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services: 7:30 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Services over ashes: 2 p.m. Saturday at the Huialoha Church. Inurnment to follow. Aloha attire.
