Patrick Lindsey, age 35, of Hammond, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006. He is survived by his father, Lenwood Lindsey of Hammond, IN; two sisters: Lynette Ajibade of Lynwood, IL and Denice Lindsey of Hammond, IN; one brother, Dennis Lindsey of Hammond, IN; one nephew, Anthony Ajibade of Evansville, IN; two great-nephews: Anthony Jr. and Jameer Ajibade; and a host of relatives and friends. Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Callie Mae Lindsey. Homegoing Services will be held Monday, December 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 3924 Kennedy Ave., East Chicago, IN with Rev. T. Brian Hill officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2006 at New Ebenezer M.B. Church from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a celebration of song from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Family hour 6:00-8:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery in Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Midwest Bank for the Patrick Lindsey Scholarship Fund. Divinity Funeral Home in charge of Arrangements. Patrick was a well-known musician in Northwest Indiana.
