Mary L. Holleman, 82, of 3617 Classic Dr., Garland, died Monday at 9:30 pm. in a Richard (sic) nursing home.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Sorrells-Peters Chapel with Dr. L.D. Ball officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Born Feb. 27, 1900 in Oakwood, she was the daughter of Louis B. and Mary I. Baxter Barnes. She was married to Sam L. Holleman July 7, 1917 in Greenville. Mrs. Holleman was a member of Greenville’s First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Gayle Nicholson of Garland; sisters, Frances Frazier of Dallas, Lyna Etier of Carrollton and Lila Goebel of Greenville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Sorrells-Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
