Grace Lewis, 92, of Sherwood, Ark., died on June 14, 1991, at Baptist Memorial Medical Center in North Little Rock, Ark.
She was born on June 10, 1899, in Smyth, S. D., to Darwin Maxson and Eunice (Huffman) Maxson. She was a resident of Gentry, Ark., most of her life. Grace had been in Little Rock, Ark., for the past 10 years and was a charter member of the SDB Church of Little Rock.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Green of Milton, Wash., and Jeanne Hendrickson of Sherwood; two brothers, Russell of Milton, Wis., and Fitch of Bridgeton, N. J.; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.R. Lewis, who died in 1950; two sisters, Geneva Holland and Ruth Spinks; two brothers, Paul and Carl Maxson; and three sons, Bob, Jack, and Franklyn Ratliff.
A memorial service was held on June 17, 1991, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., with the Revs. Kenneth Van Horn and Bruce Holland officiating. Burial was in the Gentry Cemetery.
