He was the husband of Rinda (Amicarelli) Eastman. They had been married for 54 years. Born in Colrain, Mass., a son of the late Rev. Harvey M. and Mary R. (Smith) Eastman, he had lived in Cumberland before moving to Cranston in 1990.
Mr. Eastman was a co-owner of the former Amicarelli and Eastman Jewelers in Providence for 38 years before retiring in 1988.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific.
Besides his wife, he leaves a brother, Walter Eastman of Flagler Beach, Fla. He was the brother of the late Mary R. Morrison, Agnes A. Little, and William H., Harvey and Robert H. Eastman.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Slatersville Congregational Church, on the common in Slatersville.
