MONTFORT - Wilma H. Jones, age 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at Bloomfield Manor Nursing Home, in rural Dodgeville. She was born Feb 23, 1913, in Eden Township, Iowa County, the daughter of Glenn and Lydia (Trankle) James. She was united in marriage to Elwyn Jones on Sept. 2, 1939. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Jones (Bill Walter) of Clemente, Calif. and Jennie (Jeff) Micko of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Calvin (Joann) James of Livingston, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, on Feb. 5, 1985; brother, Curtis James; and a sister, Florence Anderson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at the MONTFORT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Montfort. Pastor Gary Benzschawel will officiate with burial in the East Side Cemetery, Dodgeville. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at the SOMAN-LARSON FUNERAL HOME, Montfort and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Saturday.
