LOMBARD, Doris Theresa - 73, New Edinburgh, passed away January 14, 2006. Born October 16, 1932, in St. Bernard, Digby Co., she was a daughter of the late Julius and Edith (Bonnenfant) Comeau. Doris was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church and resided in New Edinburgh for most of her life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughter, Odette (Raymond) Comeau, Saulnierville, Digby Co.; son, Paul, New Edinburgh; grandsons, Logan Lombard, Pubnico, Yarmouth Co.; Joel Lombard, Halifax; granddaughter, Reanne Comeau, Saulnierville; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Ania, and Ilona; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Denis. No visitation by request of the family. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Father Paul Belliveau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North.
