LOMBARD, Denis Joseph "Dennie" - 76, New Edinburgh, passed away July 20, 2005, in Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, Digby Co. Born in New Edinburgh, he was a son of the late Julius and Martha (Amirault) Lombard. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, St. Bernard, Digby Co. Dennie was an engineer employed with Fundy Gypsum Co. for over 30 years and was later employed with Comeau Seafood's. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Comeau); son, Paul, New Edinburgh, Digby Co.; daughter, Odette (Raymond) Comeau, Saulnierville, Digby Co.; sister, Anna Wagner, New Edinburgh; brother, George, New Edinburgh; grandsons, Logan Lombard, Pubnico, Yarmouth Co.; Joel Lombard, Halifax; granddaughter, Reanne Comeau, Saulnierville; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Ania, and Illona. He was predeceased by his sister, Rose Amirault. No visitation by request. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday in St. Bernard Catholic Church, Father Paul Belliveau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Donations can be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North.
